Four and Five star graded by VisitBritain 2012, and many with prestigious Gold Awards, the Coastal Retreats collection has everything a discerning holidaymaker looks for - professionally designed contemporary interiors, carefully selected soft furnishings, fully equipped kitchens, leisure club membership (at most cottages) and a
host of extra touches to make our guests feel special.

Children are made very welcome, after all they too can appreciate a little luxury (and the dressing up boxes, trampolines, internet access, Wendy houses, games rooms...!) so we even have our own starfish child-friendly rating system to allow you to choose with confidence. We work on the premise that if the children are happy then so are the parents!


We are popular with large groups, posh hen parties, golfing groups, family reunions as well as couples and honeymooners.


Leisure club membership is included at a private club (20m pool, sauna, steam room, gym), numerous activities (such as kite surfing, kayaking, diving) can be arranged, meals and groceries can be delivered or gourmet dinner parties cooked in your cottage.

We have several cottages in Beadnell village and many in surrounding areas of Seahouses, Bamburgh and Craster. Some boast log fires and stunning sea views, others feature gardens, chic decor and a boatload of character and style.
